Terms of Use

Last updated: June 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using LeaveTransfer.org (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does — and does not — do

LeaveTransfer.org is a privately owned platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) or any federal agency. We do not process, approve, or administer leave transfers. All leave donations must be completed through your own agency's official Voluntary Leave Transfer Program (VLTP) using the appropriate OPM forms.

The Service is an informational platform that helps make Voluntary Leave Transfer Program (VLTP) campaigns visible. All actual leave donations must be completed through your own federal agency's official VLTP process. We do not move, hold, or guarantee any leave hours.

3. Eligibility and accounts

Campaign creation and pledging are intended for U.S. federal employees using a valid federal (.gov / .mil) work email. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to post false, misleading, or fraudulent campaigns, not to share another person's sensitive personal or financial information, and not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. No warranties

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any campaign will reach its goal or that any leave transfer will be approved by an agency.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeaveTransfer.org and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
